Hole Saw Forming Systems
Double Hole Saw Forming System
Features:
  • Fast Set-ups
  • Reduced Floor Space
  • Quick Playback
  • Rapid Cycle Times
  • Reduced Energy Cost
  • Low Labor Cost
The Tring Corporation is the leader in hole saw forming equipment and has over 12 years experience in automatic forming systems. Recently we have been working with a leading furnace builder to develop a superior integrated loading, furnace and forming system.

This new system combines improvements in the loader former and a furnace design specifically for hole saw forming. The controls have been combined into a single PLC that allows control of loader operation, furnace temperature, hearth indexing, atmosphere, die cooling and former.

Special Furnace
Tring Corporation has partnered with furnace builder Seco/Warwick Corporation, Meadville, PA, to build a furnace specificity for hot forming of hole saw blades. The new furnace offers the benefits of a hearth with accurately located slot locations. This furnace uses an indexer rather than a complex servo drive.

We are also able to offer a double system where two loaders and two unloaders are used with one furnace. This not only reduces capital cost but also reduces operational cost. The104cm ( 41") furnace will handle blades up to15cm (6") diameter and will allow a double forming system to be applied now or at a later time.

Quick Set-up
Innovations such as quick change tooling and Fast Purge have been developed to keep your forming system up and running. Our quick-change tooling allows quick change over from one size to another. On our double system, two different size blades can be run at the same time. Water cooled tooling allows fast cycle times.

Product Size Range

Our  standard systems will produce hole saws 1.9cm (3/4") diameter through 15 cm (6") diameter, heights from 3.4cm (1.375") through 5.7cm (2.25") and thickness from 1.06mm (.042") to 1.27mm (.050"). Other sizes can  be accommodated with modifications.

Cycle Time

Cycle time is adjustable from the operator interface panel. Average cycle time is 12 seconds, thus producing 5 hole saws per minute per line. This is based on a 4 second quench time in the dies and 2 minutes soak time in the furnace. Changing quench time or soak time will directly effect the cycle time. A double system will produce two blades each cycle.
